Gloria is passionate about her career in teaching music to children. Following completion of a Bachelor of Music Education, Gloria has taught privately and in schools. She has taught music to children, in Colombia, the UK, Australia, and for the past 5 years with MusiqHub here in Auckland.
Gloria began her musical career while at school, playing clarinet with her home town concert band in Colombia. She continued playing with salsa and Latin bands in the UK. Gloria is currently playing clarinet with the Hibiscus Coast Concert Band.
Gloria believes that music brings out the best in children and people of all ages, and that playing any instrument is a great skill to have, at any level.
Gloria specialises in clarinet and keyboard / piano, and also teaches guitar, ukulele, flute, saxophone and trumpet.
