Karla Galley:
I support Rob with the admin side of Guitar and Ukulele lessons. I also work with Rob to plan, organise, direct, stage manage and perform in our end of year concert where I love working with all of the students. My musical passion started at a very young age. I sang competitively since the age of seven and won many awards throughout NZ. I have represented NZ in Australia and Norfolk Island where I was filmed as part of the TVNZ documentary 'Sweet Dreams'. As a Singer/Songwriter I enjoy performing my own songs and have recorded an album of original songs. I am a busy working Mum with a background in Business. I have judged national singing competitions which I really love as I enjoy encouraging up and coming singers with constructive, positive feedback. Having had vocal coaching from a young age myself I am passionate about coaching young singers to become confident in their ability, improve their technique, create good habits and most importantly have fun singing!

Concert 2013 Feedback

Saturday, 14 September 2013, 11:10pm

Just wanted to say thank you for the awesome concert! The kids had a great time.  I know how much work must go into an event like this, so thankyou for the effort you and Karla put in to making this such a great experience for the kids. I also really enjoyed hearing some of the young singers sing and play the guitar. Fantastic. The kids are lucky to have such a great teacher. Good luck for your upcoming work on Wicked…we hope to get there to see the production.

I just wanted to say thank you to both of you for all your hard work in putting the concert together. We all thoroughly enjoyed the concert, I think it was the best one I've seen yet.

I support having the band and vocals as it gives the kids a unique experience to play with such dedicated professional musicians and appreciate that they give up their time to attend the concert. Jenelle certainly enjoys the experience  and  I think they deserved a big thank you at the end of the concert too.

I am amazed at how smoothly it runs when swapping all those eager guitar players around, not an easy feat.  We enjoyed the solo spots (some real characters) and of course the awesome lead vocals of Ashley and Carlo. I especially enjoyed Suzanne Lynch singing Highway to hell.

We think you did a great job in integrating the electric guitars with acoustic guitars and also enjoyed the "I Love Rock n Roll medley".

Well done, it was a great show with lots of variety, an awesome experience for the students and audience.

Thank you so much to you and Karla for putting on such a great event!  It's such an amazing opportunity for the kids - so we fully

back what you're doing. :)

I just thought I would drop you a line to say thank you so much for organising such an amazing concert! I'm sure we weren't the only parents to be thoroughly impressed with calibre of talent , amazing live band line-up (yourselves included) and giving our children such a fabulous opportunity!

I just wanted to say a big thank you for yesterday.

Robert had an amazing time and we thought the concert

was fantastic. We really enjoyed it. You and your team are a real inspiration

for all of the kids.

We just wanted to say a big THANK YOU to you both for yesterday!  What a fantastic concert it was, it far exceeded anything we thought it might be.

Thank you both so much for yet another fantastic concert!!!

It was such an enjoyable concert and the kids looked like they had a great time.

Appreciate all the hard work and effort that you both put into teaching the kids and putting

the concert together to make it such a special event for everyone.

I would have to say that I enjoyed the electric guitars this year and especially the Wayward Song!!!  That was awesome!!!   I now realise how intense and hard it must have been for you Rob to get all those boys to learn the song and play it well.  I think they all did you proud and you deserve a big pat on the back.  It was so good and sounded really professional.

Thanks guys.   Once again appreciate all your hard work and efforts
