Peter has been teaching music for 6 years, using a strengths-based model.

He has been working with young people for most of his career through sustainability education, leadership, and most recently as a therapist. Music education doesn’t feel like work to Peter – it’s a whole lot of fun and a privilege to help students find their musical spark. He offers private lessons primarily within school time at schools, but also out of school hours, and he works with any age student. Peter especially loves family lessons, where parents learn beside their child.

Peter has been playing music for 19 years on guitar, piano, synthesiser, drum machines, harmonica, drums and bass guitar. He loves music for what it brings to peoples’ lives and communities. He has played a range of genres including singer-songwriter, live improvisation, reggae, trance, house, hip hop, punk, art-rock and ska.
